“Campus to Career 2024” Takes Off: Empowering Bangladesh’s Next Corporate Leaders

Shomvob Jobs, in partnership with UNICEF’s Passport to Earning (P2E) initiative, proudly launched the highly anticipated “Campus to Career 2024: Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders” case competition at the Sky Lounge Restaurant. The launch event brought together 40 enthusiastic student representatives from various prestigious universities across Bangladesh, including North South University, Dhaka University, Army IBA, BRAC University, and institutions from Chittagong. The event showcased these young leaders with immense excitement and energy, who hold key positions within their university clubs. Attendees shared ideas, discussed opportunities, and expressed their eagerness to participate in the upcoming program. The event was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Estanul Kabir, an Educational Specialist from UNICEF, who spoke passionately about the importance of digital literacy in today’s evolving world. He emphasized how UNICEF’s Passport to Earning (P2E) project has played a crucial role in equipping youth with essential soft skills, preparing them for career success. Mr. Kabir also expressed his optimism for the “Campus to Career” initiative, hoping it would have a long-lasting impact. Participants received an in-depth introduction to the “Campus to Career 2024” program, designed to empower university and college students by boosting their employability, building leadership abilities, and offering hands-on experiences. They were excited to hear about the range of benefits, such as training in soft skills, real-world challenges, attractive cash prizes, opportunities to become Management Trainees at Shomvob, and free career guidance sessions. The launch event was filled with engaging activities, including networking sessions, an interactive quiz competition, and a grand lunch, creating a vibrant atmosphere and fostering connections among attendees. Representatives from Selaxtra and Indrive, two key placement partners of “Campus to Career,” attended and shared valuable insights and experiences with the participants. The event laid a solid foundation for the upcoming competition, sparking excitement among students who are eager to participate and demonstrate their skills.
